Today I worked 3Z5ØKPN a special event station from Warsaw, Poland on 20 meter with CW. Tonight I heard I/PA5CA calling from Italy on 40 meter, I gave him a call, he came back for me, but after I send my name and QTH he was working in the meantime with PAØSVD. Huh? Yeah, S9 + 20 db on his S-meter. That QRO station blown me away. But it was very strange he didn't came back for me. Maybe he forgot me, it's warm and muggy in the shack... or QSB or whatever, though, it's a little strange.
Today we had a magnetic storm, but there is also a sunspot on his way, that's the good news.

Another change
A change of speed, a change of style
A change of scene, with no regrets
Ian Curtis – Joy Division – from ‘New Dawn Fades’
Everything changes, nothing stays the same. So I wanted my old call sign back earlier this year. Why? Nostalgia or was I used to the old call sign when I started CW again. Now my CW speed is satisfying ok, and the argument is no longer valid. But with phone is PAØPSY too long, especially when I work QRP. I love a short call sign when I heard one on HF. So, for the fourth time this year I changed my call sign again. I hope this one will last a little bit longer. And I should, because in a few years Agentschap Telecom run out of the short call signs. So, from now on I am PC4T.
Tonight I worked on 30 meter with CW and 3 watt: SQ9IDE Damian from Poland, DL3SEU/QRP Dieter from Germany and HA1ZH Zol from Hungary.

short skip to Germany
On photo the QSL card of DF7IS Klaus from near Karlsruhe, Germany. I worked him with the Club station DLØGER, cw on 40 meter. He was running 5 watts. There not much to do this morning on 40 meter, but I heard only a few German QRP stations working. Isn't that strange? Also worked DK7JI Herbert near Koln, Germany, he was running 9 watts, and on 30 meter with CW DF3OL/P Juergen from Edemissen, Germany with 4 watts and DL9OZ Richard from Friedrichshafen (with 100W), Germany. Those 2 stations were the only stations I heard on 30 meter.

The Stealth ST940B roof rack Magloop
I found this video on internet about a stealth antenna. Well, it looks like a nice piece of technique. Read more >>>

On photo F4FNL Thierry from Serriere Chautagne, France. I worked him on 20 meter BPSK31. Also worked HA1DRA, Frigyes from Hungary, we worked before. With CW I had a half QSO with IK1TWK Aldo from Rivoli, Italy, on 20 meter but after my return he was vanished. Probably QSB. Conditions on 20 - 40 meter are poor. This weekend I had no time for ham radio, very busy with all kind of things. So maybe this week more QSO's.

A new beginning (I hope)
A new sunspot emerge on the surface of our sun. Yep!! It's about time. The Solar Flux is 73 today, so let's hope for a new beginning of cycle 24. I keep my fingers crossed. This morning I worked Uwe DJ9HX from Neuenstadt, Germany with SSB on 40 meter. On 6 meter I heard CT7/DL8LAQ round 16.00 Z with SSB, I tried to call him but he didn't hear me. Tonight I worked CT2FPY, Lionel from Aveiro, Portugal on 20 meter BPSK31.
